The Project

What is Mandé?

Mandé is the fantasy planet in the Andromeda Galaxy. Originally, it was called Pachma until the Uchafu decided to invade and take over things. They decided it needed a new name for a New World, and renamed it Mandé, which means “repeated story” in the Uchafu language. The existing inhabitants, the Pachmarians, weren’t quite happy with all the changes, but who would? They were a settled agricultural society that hadn’t seen conflict in a million years. The trouble started the day the Uchafus arrived and is forevermore referred to as 0 – Forté One – The Time of One. Today, there are over 9000 years (edes) of Mandé history to be told, battles to be fought, governments to be dissolved, dynasties to be built, and dynasties to be toppled. Not to mention all the conflict surrounding the native dragons.

NEW RELEASES

The Cutter

Category: Kindle Vella

Randarr, the local stone cutter, barely makes it inside the pub before the sun recedes and the Night Terrors begin, as angry and unwelded Dragons surround the City of Corundam, burning everything that moves into a pile of ash. No one is safe out in the streets at night. The maddening noise pushes you towards acceptance, madness, or flight. It is up to Randarr’s defiance of ancient law to bring back Crystal Singing, refine the practice, and restore all hope to Corundam.

Emerald Isle

The Hospitality Guild finally gives Biologist Henrietta Digmar her first assignment, the Isle of Quercuis, better known as the Emerald Isle. Of course, Henrietta is more of a dragon person, than a fairy lover. Even if they are an endangered species, fairies creep her out. Determined to get in and out as fast as she can, she checks off the boxes methodically until… well, you’ll have to read the episodes to find out what happens when she meets Fae Gordon. It’s a bit spicey! New Episode every week.

How do I learn about Mandé?

There is a Facebook Group on my FB Page which will help people with glossary terms, locations, customs, etc. as new worlds can be, well, new and confusing. Here’s a link to the group. I encourage you to join even before the books are out:
